Guild Stuff

I'm not sure if we can fiddle this, but I'm going to try.
Apparently you need at least 20+ members in a guild to get any sort of town. I know it costs a fortune, but we can at least start to put the wheels in motion.
I know we don't have enough members, but maybe it doesn't count accounts - maybe it counts number of chars. Could we all try to get all our alts in the guild as well so that we can get the nubmers up?
Thanks

Ok, can do that!
What advantages does a guild city have?

As far as I know, you can build several buildings there - like a blacksmith - that are necessary if you want to craft high lvl objects.
For this, you would need a high lvl armorsmith of course...

Plus, it would of course look great if you had your own guild city :)

In my opinion, I really appreciate the idea of guild housings.. but I do not think it is necessary for us at this point of the game. Everyone is still levelling, some of us are still gathering money for their mount - I doubt that we have the time or the money to support a city at the moment.

But I´ve been wrong before :)

I started Alchemy and, annoyingly, one can't be an high-level Alchemist without a crafting station in your own guild city.
Well, I KNEW I'd eventually find something that was really stupid in this game.

But I'm sure I'll survive if I can't throw some liquids into a test tube and go mwahahahaha :-)

Another fine feature I just found out about guild cities: if you build a, let´s say barracks in your town, all guild members of the archetype "soldier" (guardian, conquerer, dark templar) are getting several boni to their characters.
There are similar buildings for other classes (a temple for priest archetype for example).

Now THAT is something I am willing to support.

I looked up the costs by the way, the outer wall alone (Tier 0, you can upgrade every building) costs about 200 gold, and TONS of raw materials like stone.
So we better start recruiting new members NOW :)

Working alot at the moment, but dont think that is the sole reason.
Funcom needs to release something fun soon, (PvP exp etc) but it cant be done in the current incredibly imbalanced game.

The damagegem thing is just redicolous.

Told you AoC would suck! Now come to Warhammer, GOA is responsible for european servers, how bad can it be?!

Well I'm playing anyway, 'tis a wellknown fact my innate Pwning cancels out the black-hole strength suckage of GOA [smilie=banana.gif] Ah, it will be good to smack frenchies violently about the face and neck again..
